This week we had two pretty big milestones: we hit the 30-week mark and two of the kiddos turned 10! Naturally, the latter required a party.
We have had Norma Gene and Boomer since they were about 9 months old. They've actually been together since before they came to us. They were in the same rescue and we adopted them together, so they're very close. And adorable. I like to think of them as married, though they now live apart. (Don't worry, they get to see each other a lot!)
Anyway, we had a nice little birthday party. What party is complete without birthday hats and cupcakes? So you better believe we had some of both.

Poor Boomer ran around the kitchen the rest of the night, sniffing and licking the floor, determined to find more cupcakes or crumbs.
Norma Gene was perfectly full with one and then curled up for a nice nap while the other kids ran around and played.
